AI Summary of 21. Term of registration

A registration becomes effective on the date it is granted or on a specified later date indicated in the registration. This rule holds true regardless of whether an appeal against a decision to impose a condition of registration is initiated, particularly in the case of a CIT provider, as established by section 19(5).

Once a registration is effective, it remains valid unless it is revoked under the relevant provisions of this Part. Thus, the duration of a registration is maintained from the effective date until any potential earlier revocation occurs.

(2) A registration remains in force, unless sooner revoked under this Part, from the date on which it comes into force.
