Without prejudice to section 24(4), the Registrar may request a company to provide evidence of the situation of the company’s registered office for the purposes of satisfying himself or herself of the matters referred to in section 21(2), or for recording a change in the situation of the registered office in accordance with section 50(3).

Where the Registrar has made such a request, he or she shall not register the constitution of the company under section 21 or record the change under section 50(3), as the case may be, unless the required evidence is provided.
