Article 82a

1. Member States shall ensure that, where an investment company or, for any of the common funds it manages, a management company draws up, provides, revises and translates a key information document which complies with the requirements for key information documents laid down in Regulation (EU) No 1286/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council [Regulation (EU) No 1286/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 November 2014 on key information documents for packaged retail and insurance-based investment products (PRIIPs) (OJ L 352, 9.12.2014, p. 1).’.], competent authorities consider that key information document to satisfy the requirements applicable to key investor information set out in Articles 78 to 82 and Article 94 of this Directive.

2. Member States shall ensure that competent authorities do not require an investment company or, for any of the common funds it manages, a management company to draw up key investor information in accordance with Articles 78 to 82 and Article 94 of this Directive where it draws up, provides, revises and translates a key information document which complies with the requirements for key information documents set out in Regulation (EU) No 1286/2014.
