Document Overview
AI Summary of 120. Interpretation (Chapter III).
The document provides definitions critical for understanding the regulatory framework governing amusement machines. An 'officer' refers to personnel from the Revenue Commissioners, while 'operator' encompasses individuals such as owners, hirers, or lessees responsible for machine management, coin operations, and overall control.
It further stipulates that an amusement machine requires payment to play, with outcomes determined by the machine's action, offering limited non-monetary rewards. Notably, machines are deemed 'available for play' unless formally exempted due to public inaccessibility, ensuring compliance within public spaces while safeguarding regulatory integrity.
