Regulation 218 Ultimate parent undertaking at EU level
(1) Where a participating insurance undertaking or reinsurance undertaking or an insurance holding company or mixed financial holding company referred to in Regulation 216(3)(a) or (b) is itself a subsidiary undertaking of an insurance undertaking, reinsurance undertaking, insurance holding company or mixed financial holding company which has its head office in a Member State, Regulations 221 to 263 shall apply only at the level of the ultimate parent insurance undertaking, reinsurance undertaking, insurance holding company or mixed financial holding company which has its head office in a Member State.
