S.I. No. 374 of 2013 amends the Guidelines issued under section 210 of the National Asset Management Agency Act 2009 (original instrument of 26 March 2010, as amended in 2011). By instrument dated 9 October 2013, to commence 15 October 2013, the Minister for Finance substitutes a €3,000,000 monetary threshold for the previous threshold in the specified subparagraph, thereby altering which refusals of credit facility applications by participating institutions are subject to the Guidelines’ review mechanism.

The practical effect is to raise the trigger for formal review: refusals of applications for credit facilities in excess of €3,000,000 will fall within the review procedures established by the Guidelines. The Instrument was published in Iris Oifigiúil on 18 October 2013.
