18. Bridge-bank may carry on banking business.

(1) A bridge-bank shall be taken to hold a licence (within the meaning given by section 7(1) of the Act of 1971).

(2) The Bank may exercise all of its powers under the supervisory EU legal acts (within the meaning given by the Act of 1942) in relation to a bridge-bank.
